The photographic documentation shows results of war activities carried out from January to May 1945 when Wrocław, turned into a stronghold at that time, was attacked by the Red Army. Sixty eight percent of the city wes destroyed. Photographs, taken just after the War's end, come from the collections of the Municipal Museum and Architectural Museum in Wrocław.
